Dear Traveller; Pull Not The Plug

Dear Traveller; Pull Not The Plug

The only thing that should stop the traveller from moving is destination finale: death. Nothing else should.

Good day, my fellow traveller. And welcome to this short travellers' helper prose. It's a piece of advice from one who needs it, too. And maybe, the most.

As you already know, we're all travellers, to our different destinations. With well over seven billion humans in the world today—as they say we are—so are there well over seven billion parallel travellers, as well. All working and travelling amidst uncertainties in search of fulfilment, according to our different definitions.

We are here to live and leave. By that, I mean that we are born to live life and leave legacies behind. If, by the time you go from here, the people you lived around forget you or your deeds easily, then you lived for nothing. Whatever you lived for should live after you—of course, I'm not talking about bearing children. I'm talking about what you do with your God-given talents.

I believe the saying: "It's better to die for something than to live for nothing". Living for something means living for yourself—inside out, first—and then for others around you! Simple right? Well, read again and think about it, it's quite more!

The life we live is characterized by ups and downs, troubles here and there, challenges big and small, and fights; physical and spiritual. Yet, all of that aren't reasons enough for anyone to halt pushing toward their desired destination. The traveller doesn't stop moving—come rain or sunshine, except for short rests—until he gets to his final destination. The only thing that should stop the traveller from pushing is the destination finale: death. Nothing else should.

You deserve a better life, a life that you live and not just survive, which you have to work for, and I know very well that you can achieve that for yourself. If you're already living, as against surviving, it's time for you to pass the living along. No matter where you are currently, there's a better and achievable spot—for you and/or the things/people you represent/fight for—ahead. So, why stale?

While the journey to the destination should be enjoyable, it's also certain that there'll be serious challenges along that "right path for you". Trials will come and push very hard to break your will. In such cases, only your resolve and determination to reach the finish line sees you through.

Do not pull the plug because of struggles when you're very sure that you're on the right path for yourself. The night may last for a while, but surely, the day always comes afterwards.

Imagine the heat that seeds are subjected to under the soil before they germinate and bear their fine fruits. You may be at your refining moments. Hang on there. Endure the heat. You're about to germinate and bear fruits.

Pulling the plug now may mean going through the troubles, all over again, right from the start, should you wish to continue in the future.

Keep tight to the victories already earned and let them spur you to go for the big price. The past failures should remain where they belong: the past, and only be referenced in the present for lessons.

Continue the journey of your life and dream with renewed hope. If you hang on long enough ('enough' there is no definite time; but whatever time it takes you), with diligence, you'll surely wake up one day and see all your efforts yielding fine fruits—usually more and finer than you ever imagined—and the course of your life will change forever.

The maker of the universe—whoever that is to you—never promised that "all will be well" at some point. Therefore, it's advisable to stop expecting things to be "all well" soon. Always try and make lemonade out of your lemon. That's how you deprive troubles of the power to stop you.

On your way to your dreams, you need absolute trust in your "personal god and gut".

Your dreams await you!

God "blessed" you!
